최근 지역사회 안전 활동에 활용 범위를 넓혀가고 있는 것으로 드론이 대표적이다. 드론과 관련된 산업은 기술적 발전을 거듭하고 있으며 향후 활용에 대한 기대는 더욱 크다. 이에 우리는 기술적 발전을 바탕으로 지역안전에 기여하기 위한 논의를 더욱 활발히 전개해야 한다. 본 연구는 지역안전의 개선을 위해서 드론이 기여하는 역할이 있으며, 그 범위가 다양하다는 전제 하에 이를 지역사회와 연계하는 방안을 모색하였다. 연구에서 중점을 두고 있는 측면은 드론 산업을 육성하는 전략으로 지역을 거점화하여 협력 체계를 구축하는 방안이다. 연구의 범위는 충청북도를 중심으로 하였으며, 공식적 자료와 연구 보고서 등을 검토하는 문헌 검토와 사례 분석을 실시하였다. 드론 산업의 지역 거점 활성화를 위한 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학문 간의 융합적 접근이 필요하다. 둘째, 지역사회 안전에 활용할 수 있는 신종 기술의 발굴과 구체적 활용방안이 연구되어야 한다. 셋째, 지역과 대학의 공동연구로 안전산업에 기여할 수 있어야 한다. 넷째, 지역 특성화의 수단으로 안전과 관련된 산업 인프라가 구축되고 연계되어야 한다.
In recent years, drones are the most widely used in community safety activities. The industry associated with drones is undergoing technological advances, and there is greater expectation for future use. Therefore, we should actively discuss to contribute to community safety based on technological advances. This study discussed how to connect with the local community on the premise that drones can contribute to the improvement of local safety and that the scope of activities is diverse. The main focus of the research is to foster the drone industry and to build a cooperative system based on the community. The scope of this study was based on Chungcheongbuk-do, and literature review and case analysis were conducted to review official data and research reports. This is a suggestion for revitalizing the regional base of the drone industry. First, a convergent approach between disciplines is needed. Second, local communities should study ways to discover and utilize new technologies for safety improvement. Third, community and university should be able to contribute to safety industry through joint research. Fourth, it should be linked to the construction of safety industry infrastructure as a means of regional specialization.
