본 연구는 오랜 역사를 지닌 해주 오씨의 집성촌인 안성 덕봉마을에 대해서 2018년 상반기에 현장 답사를통해서 현황을 조사하고 문중 관계자를 인터뷰하였다. 이를 바탕으로 하여 전통과 현대가 공존하고 있는 덕봉마을이표출하고 있는 로컬리티의 공간성에 주목하는 한편, 전통 경관의 복원이 진행되면서 역사, 관광, 교육 관련 체험 공간으로 재구성된 점에 주목하였다. 덕봉마을이 현재와 같은 모습을 갖춘 것은 해주 오씨 정무공파 종중의 안정적인 관리에 따른 것이라고 할 수 있다. 한편, 정무공파 종중은 종가의 종손이 아닌 종중에서 선출된 종의장을 중심으로 하여 운영되는 것이 특징으로, 종택(宗宅)인 퇴전당(退全堂)보다 종중 재실(齋室)의 위상이 더 높다고 할 수 있다.
This study looked at the status of Deokbong Village, a long-standing community of Haeju Oh family, through an on-site survey. In particular, it researched the characteristics of the spatiality expressed by Deokbong Village, where tradition and modern times coexist, and noted the traditional landscape. The restoration of Deokbong Village was strongly promoted through the activities of the Haeju Oh Jeongmugong clan. The leader of the Haeju Oh Jeongmugong clan is representatives of Jeongmugong clan who is elected at a clan meeting, not on the succeedings grandson of the family. The Jaesil hold ancestral rites and be in charge of education for the younger generation. The Jaesil where using as a office space of the Haeju Oh Jeongmugong clan is higher status than the head house of the Haeju Oh Jeongmugong clan.
