The purpose of this paper examine the educational infra-structure and private education movement of IkSan District under the Japanese Colonial periods. As we know, IkSan District in the Japanese Colonial periods had a history from time immemorial and multi-religious culture, a vast plain agricultural city, traffic city to be accessible from all directions. Those education infra-structure effected upon education at that time. However it dosn't limited only to IkSan district, most of all occupied education under the Japanese Colonial periods were various laws and regulations proclaimed by Japanese Imperialism : Act of private schools, from the first Act of ChoSun Education to the fourth Act of ChoSun Education, village schools, local schools annexed to the Confucian shrine, regulations on private short term courses. Among those situations, contrast with government and public schools run by Japanese imperialism, those education movement run by non-government support, poor than former in each environment compared with former schools. But under the those situations, even not accomplished the aims, taken an remarkable things were the petition presented by private education institutes about the establishing public schools and private higher education. Especially, private education movement give us implications so much: a lots of private schools established and run by religious groups, some private schools established by influential person and groups in IkSan districts, on the other hand the village schools established at the rural area, various private short term courses and night schools also established. However remained tasks will be studied at near future are as following: How such persons related with private education movement, curriculum management, evaluation at that times, resistence movement against Japanes imperialism. Now I'd like to present the some implication for Development of Education in IkSan districts as follows. First, let's take over the such an education infrastructure in Japanese Colonial periods and take an effort to development of education in Iksan district. Second, let's think about how to succeed and develope the spirit of education in Iksan district impressed in mind. Finally, for that, community members should be firmed and hold in public interest in common, overcome the regional bound, private education movement in Japanese imperialism were not pursuit for the personal development or interest, but only for development of community. It already have stopped the colonialism in political sense, but in cultural and economic sense, such colonialism not yet recovered. For those, much more important thing is to be an extension of public mind for the regional and community.
