최근 대도시권 광역교통 시행계획에 따라 환승센터 건립이 추진되고 있다. 환승센터 건립 추진은 일반적으로 경제성분석에 따라 우선 순위를 정하고 있지만 계량화 할 수 없는 정책적 사항 등을 고려하여 추진할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 우선순위를 정하기 위한 분석으로 본 연구에서는 계층화분석기법(AHP : Analytic Hierarchy Process)을 이용하여 상위평가기준(개발잠재력, 개발실현성, 개발시급성, 지역균형발전 등)과 각 상위 평가기준별로 세부적인 하위평가기준(연계영향권내 인구, 연계시설 수준, 총예상투자비용, 철도역 이용자수, 환승서비스 수준, 재정자립도, 교통축 활성화 등)을 적용하여 우선순위 결정시 필요한 평가항목 가중치를 산정하였다.
