미학은 그 학적 대상을 미적 가치 및 가치실현의 문제로 삼고 있다. 본 논문은 가치에 관한 전면적 고찰을 연구대상으로 하는 현상학적 가치론에 입각하여 현상학적 가치미학을 논한다. 제반 가치들 중 미학적 가치는 정신적 가치로 분류된다. 미적 가치를 추구하는 미학적 인간의 영혼은 아름다운 것에 대한 체험에 열려있다. 가치들이 가치체험에서 주어지듯이, 미학적 가치도 미학적 가치체험에서 주어진다. 미학적 가치질은 미적 대상이 실질적으로 담고 있는 아름다움이다. 미학적 가치이념은 미에 대한 개념과 관련된다. 미학적 가치체험은 직접성을 지니며, 감정이 작용한다. 인간의 가치의식은 일면적이기에 가치 파악과정에는 비극이 내재된다. 즉, 특정 가치에의 몰입은 다른 가치들에 대한 부정을 내포한다. 또한 미적 가치의 추구가 삶의 의의를 보장하는 것도 아니다. 미적 가치의 구현과정에도 고통은 따른다. 예술가의 미적 가치 직관은 형상을 묘사하도록 추동하고 그로부터 예술작품이 탄생한다. 그러나 작품이 작가의 직관을 제대로 구현하지 못할 때, 작가의 고뇌는 심화된다. 또한 직관된 가치체험을 객관적 형상으로 부여하는 과정에서 간극이 벌어지고, 형상부여의 비극이 발생한다. 또한 견고한 형식으로 전승된 미적 체계와 새로운 기풍을 느끼는 생동하는 영혼을 지닌 예술가 사이에는 불가피하게 간극이 생기로 이로부터 비극이 생길 수 있다. 미적 가치의 창조과정에는 경계를 넘어서는 경향이 있다. 가치 실현과정에서 자신의 가능성을 넘어 자기를 초월해 가려는 욕망이 분출하는 것이다. 이 과정에서 창조적 인간의 내면에는 창작욕과 창조력간의 분투가 벌어진다. 창작욕망을 따라잡지 못하는 창조력은 예술가에게 무력감을 준다. 역설적이게도 그의 무력감은 신적인 힘에로 연결되는 계기가 된다. 즉 단순히 신에게 속죄를 탄원하는 것이 아니라 무한한 목표에 이르는 도상에서 새로운 삶에 대한 힘, 거룩한 힘을 주기를 희망하게 된다. 이 과정에서 무한자와의 내면적 만남을 체험하기도 한다. 이상과 같은 논의를 통해, 여타의 미학과 현상학적 가치 미학의 차별성은 미적 가치나 그 실현과정뿐만 아니라 예술가의 창작과정에 주목하고 그 과정에서의 고통에 주목하고 있음을 알 수 있다.

Aesthetics regards its object as a matter of values and a process of enabling these values. From this point of view, this paper discusses phenomenological aesthetics, based on a comprehensive consideration of the phenomenological theory of value. Among all values, aesthetic values ​​are classified as spiritual values. An aesthetic soul that pursues aesthetic values ​​is likely to go through beautiful experiences. As values ​​are given in value experiences, aesthetic values ​​are also given in aesthetic value experiences. Aesthetic values are related to a beauty that aesthetic objects actually contain a concept of this beauty. Also, experiencing these values requires direct and emotional interaction. Since human cognition is commonly limited, tragedy is inevitable in the value process. In other words, a commitment to one specific value implies denial of other values. A pursuit of aesthetic values does not necessarily ​​guarantee that the meaning of life and pain also comes about during the process of enabling these aesthetic values. An artist's intuition for aesthetic values ​​drives us to describe shapes, from which artistic works are produced. However, in a case when the result of an artistic work does not properly embody the artist's intuition, the artist's agony increases. In addition, a great gap appears during a process of projecting intuitive experiences onto objective shapes and, consequently and inevitably, a tragedy occurs because of the difference between a robust mechanism of aesthetics which have been passed down and the artist with lively spirits who builds a new ethos. A creation of aesthetic values ​​tends to go beyond boundaries. Then self-transcendence, a desire to transcend oneself beyond one's own potential, is reached and causes a rift between one’s desire for creativity and artistic creativity. As a result, the creativity that does not catch up with the creative desire hurts the artist with a sense of helplessness. However, paradoxically, his helplessness leads to a divine power. In other words, instead of simply pleading to God for his atonement, he rather hopes to be given a new life, a divine power, and an infinite goal. In this process, he also experiences inner encounters with the Infinity. Considering the above discussion, it can be concluded that a differentiation between other aesthetics and phenomenological aesthetics is made on the fact that the former is limited to only aesthetic value and its realization, but the latter also includes the artist's pains in this creative process.
