The Independence Hall of Korea is an important window and platform for Korea to introduce its history and culture, but there are some mistakes in the Chinese translation of its pamphlets, which has a negative impact on the operation of the hall. Until now, the study on ‘Translation of Korean-Chinese Pamphlets’ has not attracted widespread academic attention, and is limited to analyzing mistranslations and then correcting them, so the contribution to the systematic study of ‘Pamphlets Translation’ is very limited. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the characteristics of ‘Translation of Korean-Chinese Pamphlets’, the reasons for mistranslation, and then establish translation models. The specific research process is as follows. First, this paper analyses the basic functions and characteristics of the pamphlets, as well as the characteristics of Korean and Chinese pamphlets. Then the Chinese translation of the pamphlets is classified according to the misuse of Chinese characters, improper uses of Chinese words, unreasonable collocations of words, and the absence of sentence components. Finally, this paper proposes Korean-Chinese translation models suitable for public pamphlets, hoping to help improve the quality of translation and relevant in-depth research in the future.
