This study is to identify and interpret the subjectivity of Chinese post-80s’ tourists to tourism destination Busan, using Q methodology. To increase reliability of the results, two criteria were applied for subjectivity analysis: psychological and behavioral characteristics of the post-80s’ generation and attractiveness of tourism destination. Stated questionnaires were extracted from the travel reviews posted on the tourism information site that is frequently used by young people in China. The results showed three distinct types that well reflect the behavioral characteristics of post-80s: self-centered, Korean Wave culture, and local culture experience. Especially, post-80s strongly expressed their desire to seek relaxation in all types of subjectivity. This means that they are relieving the stress of social life through travel. And contrary to the prior research, the post-80s visiting Busan was found to be relatively weak tendency in self-expression. This means that for them, travel is part of everyday life, not self-examination. Finally, some practical implications were proposed for exploring potential Chinese markets, based on the findings.
