The purpose of this study is to analyze effect of convenience of transportation on satisfaction of urban tourism for those tourists who visited Mokpo city, Jeonnam province. From October 1 to November 30, 2018, data were collected from tourism destinations around Mokpo city. A convenient sampling method and a self-administered survey were employed. According to Mokpo city, tourism in Mokpo city is divided into four zones (Gatbawi zone, Samhakdo zone, Yudalsan zone, and Kohado zone). This study has conducted only both Gatbawi zone and Yudalsan zone for a data collection. Frequency analysis for characteristics of the sample, factor analysis for validity of transportation convenience variables, and simple regression analysis for relationship between transportation convenience and satisfaction were used. Based on the results, conclusions are as follows. First, because convenience of local parking lots has a significant effect on satisfaction, special attention should be paid to local parking lots near representative tourism destinations in Mokpo city. Second, convenience of transportation linked with cities near Mokpo city should be improved. Lastly, since convenience of transportation within Mokpo city which regards as an important variable has a significant effect on satisfaction, efforts to improve convenience of urban transportation are also necessary.
