《老乞大》와 《忠義直言》에 同一한 의미를 전달함에 있어서 세가지 表現法이 存在한다. 中國語史的 觀點에서 볼 때, 하나는 原來의 表現 形式이나 語彙의 사용이고, 둘째는 새로운 表現 形式이나 語彙의 使用이며, 셋째는 이 둘이 融合된 形態의 使用이다. 이들이 元․明代에 主로 出現하고 있음을 勘案하여 볼 때, 融合은 서로 다른 言語의 接觸으로 나타난 現象으로 볼 수 있다. 또한 融合은 變化過程에서 出現하는 現象이라 할 수 있다. 言語 融合現象은 語法과 語彙의 影響을 받은 두 모습으로 나타나며, 그 形態는 다소 差異를 보인다. 語法 成分에서의 融合現象은 同一 文章 內에서 距離를 두고 ‘A+X+B(前置詞+NP+後置詞)’ 또는 ‘A+…X…+B’ 形式으로 竝用된다. 語彙 부분에서의 융합현상은 동일한 의미의 新舊의 語素 成分을 바로 붙여서 ‘AB(또는 BA)’형식으로 ‘說道․就便․邊廂’처럼 重複 連用되어 竝用된다. 言語의 融合現象은 異種 言語 間의 접촉 또는 同種 言語의 新舊 성분 間의 接觸 後 두 言語 成分에 대한 認識 轉換의 必要에 의해 나타나는 言語現象으로서 하나의 言語變化規則로 볼 수 있으며, 言語 交替期임을 알아내는 重要한 標準이 될 수 있다는 點에서 매우 所重하다.
Three types of expression exist in 《No-geol-dae》 and 《Chung-ui-jig-eon》to convey the same meaning. Convergence in the grammatical composition is expressed as ‘A + X + B (preposition + NP + postposition)’ or ‘A+…X…+B’ format. Convergence in the lexical composition appears in the form of 'AB (or BA)' by directly attaching the new and old components of the same meaning; superimposed such as ‘Shuodao說道 • jiubian就便 • bianxiang邊廂. Language convergence is a linguistic phenomenon that results from the necessity of change in recognizing the language components, after the contact of two languages. It is one of the language change rules, which is valuable as an important standard to figure out the period of language change.
