본 연구는 영유아교육기관 내 교사의 아동학대 인식 척도를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 다음과 같은 연구문제를 선정하였다. (1) 영유아교육기관 내 교사의 아동학대 인식 척도의 구성요소는 어떠한가? (2) 영유아교육기관 내 교사의 아동학대 인식 척도의 타당도 및 신뢰도는 어떠한가? 본 연구의 예비문항 구성을 위해 현장전문가 12명이 면담에 참여하였고, 예비구인 및 예비문항 선정을 위해 전문가 15명이 델파이 조사에 참여하였으며, 유치원 및 어린이집 교사 총 453명이 1, 2차 본조사에 참여하였다. 공인 타당도 확인을 위해 조숙영, 원혜경(2016)의 유아권리인식 척도를 사용하였다. 자료는 문헌고찰, 사례 수집, 면담, 설문조사 등을 통해 수집되었다. 수집된 자료를 분석하기 위해 요인분석, 공인타당도, 내적 합치도, 반분신뢰도 검증 등을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 영유아교육기관 내 교사의 아동학대 인식 척도는 아동학대 발생의 원인에 기초하여 교사․조직․영유아의 3개 하위요인과 42개의 문항으로 최종 구성되었 으며, 타당도와 신뢰도가 검증되었다. 이러한 결과는 영유아교육기관 내 교사의 아동학대 인식 척도가 개별 양육 환경이 아닌 집단을 대상으로 교육, 훈육 및 보육이 이루어지는 현장의 특성을 반영하고 있어 영유아교사의 아동학대 인식을 측정하기에 적합함을 시사한다.
The purpose of this research is to develop a scale for teachers’ perception of child abuse in early childhood educational institutions. The following research questions have been identified; (1) What are the elements of the scale for teachers’ perception of child abuse in early childhood educational institutions?, (2) What are the validity and reliability of the scale for teachers’ perception of child abuse in early childhood educational institutions? To develop the preliminary questions of this research, 12 field experts participated in the interview and 15 experts participated in preliminary recruitment and the selection of preliminary questions. A total of 453 teachers of kindergartens and day care centers participated in the first and second surveys. To test the concurrent validity, the scale for perceptions of infants’ rights by Cho Suk-young and Won Hye-kyung was employed. The data collected through the literature review, case analysis, interviews and surveys. The data analyzed through factor analysis and concurrent validity, internal consistency and split-half reliability tests. As a result, the scale for teachers’ perception of child in early childhood educational institutions was finalized with 3 sub-factors including teachers, organizations and young children with 42 questions. The results implicate that the scale for teachers’ perception of child abuse in early childhood educational institutions reflects the characteristics of the field where education, discipline and child care are performed for a group of children rather than individual child, so it is suitable for measuring the teachers’ perception of child abuse in the early childhood educational institutions.
