이 연구의 목적은 다양한 집단 간의 소통과 협업을 통하여 대학생들의 제품개발에 대한 넓은 인식과 경험을 갖추게 하는 것에 있다. 본 연구에서는 여중생들과의 새로운 협업과 소통이 두 개 전공의 대학생들에게 어떻게 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 했다. 구체적으로는, 서울시교육청의 금연캠페인을 위한 IoT시설물(패널)과 제품(금연 기증품) 개발을 논의의 중심으로 삼았다. IoT시설물 및 제품 기획에 미치는 결정 요인은 공학과 디자인 융합 경험에 기초하여 크게 사용자 감성, 기능성, 그리고 확산효과로 구분하였다. 연구 결과, 문제해결력 계발 과정이 학생들에게 긍정적으로 받아들여짐을 알 수 있었으며 공익과 수익 서비스 창출을 위한 여덟 개의 시안을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 융합형 교육에서의 공학과 디자인 협업 논의를 중학생의 메이커 교육으로 확대하였다는 점과, 제품개발교육에서 기술과 감성유형의 효과차이를 해석수준으로 살펴보았다는 점에서 의미를 갖는다. 그리고 이 융합교육연구를 통한 시사점과 한계, 향후 연구 방향을 제시하였다. 후속연구에서는 개발자의 주관적 의견이 아닌, 더 체계화된 방법론을 반영함으로써 높은 객관성을 확보하며 융합적 개발에 대한 평가를 실시하는 실증적 검토가 필요하다.
Contents to explore the possibility of the communication value, planning, production process for the University students. One of the goal of this research is composed of research applying such product development in University education. Another is aming to let students attempt collaborative development between different groups. This study examines how new co work and communication styles with middle-school girls affect two different majors students in University. Specifically, it focused on the Seoul Metropolitan of Education antismoking campaign IoT public products(panels and gifts). Based on an experience of engineering and design convergence it were extracted three dimensions such as user sensitivity, functionality, widening effect that have an impact on choice of IoT products developing. The results of the study showed that developing problem-solving abilities gives positively affects to students. I proposed a eight benefit and profitability service mock-ups. An implication of this study is that application of the convergence type education successfully extend to maker education for middle-school students which was before only limited to engineering-design collaborative work. Furthermore, it was major implications in that it examined the differences in effects of technology and sensibility in terms of construal level in product development education. I discussed about constructive implications and future directions for convergence education based on results of this paper. To get solider foundation, through future study, it appears effective to examine convergence development reflecting results of this study and integrated results of other approaches like systemed process.
