한국에서 맑스주의의 위기 이후 인문학은 주요 사건들과 사회운동 에 적극적으로 참여해왔다. 이 과정에서 형성된 인문학의 주요 쟁점 들은 국가, 포퓰리즘, 새로운 정치적 주체, 페미니즘 등이다. 하지만 이와 같은 쟁점들에 접근하는 데 있어서 인문학은 이론적, 실천적 한 계들을 안고 있다. 이와 관련하여 역사적 맑스주의는 한국 인문학의 자기 혁신에 중요한 참조가 될 수 있다. 또한 맑스주의도 혁신된 인 문학적 기반 위에서 새로운 길을 사유할 수 있다.
A Humanitas is concerned with tragic accidents and political events, so it has always been involved in social movements after the crisis of Marxism in Korea. The main issues with its intervention in society are within the nation-state, populism, new political subjects, and Feminism. However, in approaching the issues, Humanitas has theoretical and practical limitations. In this regard, historical Marxism can be an important reference for self-innovation in Korean Humanitas. Marxism can also illuminate a new path on the basis of innovative Humanitas.
