이 연구에서는 조선시대 영웅소설에 수용된 <名門巨族>의 몰락과 회복의 모티프를 통하여 치유 스토리텔링 관점에서 그 양상과 의미를 살펴보았다. 특 히 가문의 몰락을 중요하게 다룬 창작 영웅소설의 주인공은 대대로 명문거족 의 집안에서 출생하였으나 적대자에 의하여 또는 자연적으로 몰락하였으나 가 문이 회복되는 치유 스토리텔링이 낭만적으로 형상화되고 있다는 점에 주목하 였다. <명문거족>을 소재로 한 영웅소설의 치유적 성격으로는 주인공의 일생 과정에 형상화된 당시대인의 영웅에 대한 대망의식을 다양한 패턴으로 스토 리텔링하여 명문거족의 몰락에 따른 깊은 상처를 치유해가는 스토리텔링 방법 을 사용하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 본고는 치유 스토리텔링의 양상을 세 가지로 분류하여 그 의미를 살펴보았다. 첫째는 주인공의 명문거족이 자연적인 쇠락과정을 통하여 나타나고 있으며, 아들과 사위를 통하여 몰락해가는 명문거족을 힘겹게 세우고 그 상처를 치유 해가는 양상을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 둘째는 가정의 치유 스토리텔링으로서 수직적 관계가 파괴되어버린 주인공 이 구원자의 지인지감에 의한 낭만적인 방법에 의해 타 가정에 의탁하게 되고, 편입과정에서 고난을 겪고, 구원자의 집에 택서되면서 파괴되었던 가정도 회 복되며, 수평적 가정도 이루면서 가정회복을 치유해 가는 것을 확인하였다. 셋째는 신분상실의 치유스토리텔링으로써 주인공에게는 가문몰락과 가정파 탄으로 인하여 집을 떠나고 거지가 되어 유랑생활을 하거나 관청의 사환으로 연명해가는 최하층민의 비참한 생활을 이어나간 것으로 형상화함으로써 개인 의 신분몰락에 따른 상처로 내재된 상황에서 전·현직 고관의 지인지감에 의한 발탁으로 신분회복과 자아가 치유되어가는 기법을 활용하고 있다. 이처럼 조선시대의 영웅소설은 향유자들에게 그들이 가지고 있는 상처의 느 낌을 온전히 드러내고 그들의 정서적 이해의 폭을 넓게 공감하도록 향유자들 에게 동기유발을 제공한 것이라 하겠다. 다른 매체와는 달리 창작 영웅소설과 같은 문학 작품은 독자들을 무의식이나 억압된 감정에 공감하게 하고, 감동과 흥미와 이해를 줌으로써 당시대인에게 좋은 치유스토리텔링의 도구가 될 수 있었다고 하겠다.
The study looked at healing storytelling patterns and its implications on the hero novel about “the Famous family." The protagonist in the original hero novel noted that healing storytelling, which has been engrained in a noble family for generations, is romanticized, as it is shaped by antagonists or by the unwarranted collapse and eventual recovery of the family. The healing nature of the hero novel based on the Famous family shows that the author uses a storytelling method to solve a problem by telling the tale of a person longing for a hero. He in turn depicts the hero's life journey in various patterns, including his failures and the subsequent healing of his deep scars, which ultimately allow him to become a great person of his time. The healing storytelling of a hero novel about the Famous family, which was covered in this book, is divided into three aspects of oriented value. First, we see the healing story of how the hero's noble family goes through the natural process of decline. Through them, their children, and their sons-in-law, we see the storytelling of the hero's fallen family. The second is the healing storytelling of domestic destruction. The protagonist, whose vertical relationship has already been destroyed, is entrusted to another household by a rather romantic method. Nevertheless, the family that was destroyed is also recovered, and the family that formed the horizontal assumption aids and enjoys in the healing of the original home. Third is the healing story of identity loss. After all his personal wounds from leaving home due to family exile and breakdown and living a miserable life as a beggar or low-income citizen, the protagonist is able to restore his status and heal himself by being selected by an acquaintance of a former high-ranking official. As such, the hero novel of the Joseon Dynasty provides participants with motivation to reveal their feelings, be unashamed of their wounds, and broaden their own emotional understanding. Unlike other media outlets, literary works such as "Creative Hero's Novel" may be a good tool for healing, allowing people to approach unconscious or suppressed emotions, and easily expressing various emotions to convey their meanings.
