이 글의 목적은 카라칼팍 민족 선교를 위해 카자흐스탄의 카라칼팍 민족 디아스포라가 갖는 선교적 의미와 사역 방향을 모색하는것이다. 카라칼팍 교회는 지난 30 여 년의 짧은 선교역사에도 불구하고 카라칼팍스탄 전 지역에 크고 작은 가정교회가 생겨난, 이슬람권에서는 보기 드문 부흥을 경험했다. 하지만 우즈벡 정부의 조직적인 압박과 통제로 말미암아 현재 카라칼팍스탄 교회는 상당히위축되었다. 내부적으로도 교회 리더들 간에 분열과 외부에서 들어온 재정을 둘러싼 불협화음 및 도덕성 문제 등 카라칼팍스탄 교회는 전체적으로 큰 어려움에 직면해 있다. 이러한 카라칼팍스탄의 선교 환경과 현지 카라칼팍 교회의 상황을 고려할 때 카자흐스탄에 있는 카라칼팍 민족 디아스포라는 카라칼팍 민족 사역을 위한 선교적 돌파구가 될 수 있다. 이를 위해 카라칼팍 민족의 역사, 언어, 종교, 선교역사, 카자흐스탄의 카라칼팍 민족 디아스포라의 인구동향과 2014년-2018년 실시된 카자흐스탄 민족연구조사의 주요연구 결과를 살펴본다. 그리고 카라칼팍 민족 교회의 상황 및 사역적 필요와 이를 위한 카라칼팍 민족 디아스포라의 선교적 의미와사역 방향을 제안한다.
The purpose of this article is to research the missionary meaning and ministry direction of the Karakalpak diaspora in Kazakhstan for the Karakalpak mission. In spite of a short history of missions over the past 30 years, the Karakalpak churches have experienced a rare revival in the Muslim world, where large and small house churches have been planted in the entire area of Karakalpakstan. However, due to the organizational pressure and control of the Uzbek government, Karakalpak churches are now shrinking considerably. Internally, Karakalpak churches are faced with great difficulties as a result of disunity among church leaders and the issue of discord and morality surrounding finances from outside. Considering the mission environment of Karakalpakstan and the situation of Karakalpak churches in the country, Karakalpak diaspora in Kazakhstan can be a missionary breakthrough for Karakalpak ministry. For this purpose, the article first reviews the history, language, religion, mission history of the Karakalpak. In addition, examines the population trend of the Karakalpak diaspora in Kazakhstan, and evaluate the major research results of the Kazakh national ethnic research study carried out in 2014-2018. And suggests the missionary meaning and ministry direction of the Karakalpak diaspora according to the situation and ministry needs of the Karakalpak churches.
