이 연구는 교사의 교과내용지식, 곧 교사가 알아야 할 지식에 강조점을 둔다. 한글의 제자 원리에 대한 보다 정확하고 체계적인 교수·학습을 도모하기 위해 교사가 갖추어야 하는 전문 지식으로서의 교과내용지식을 마련해 보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 Ⅱ장에서는 ‘교과내용지식(SMK)’의 개념과 범위를 설명하고, Ⅲ장에서 교사용 지도서를 통해 한글 제자 원리에 대한 교과내용지식의 실체를 살폈다. 이어서 Ⅳ장에서는 앞서 지도서에서 살핀 교과내용지식의 한계와 문제점을 바탕으로, 한글 제자 원리의 본질에 대해 교사가 갖추어야 할 교과내용지식이 무엇인지 탐구해 보았다. 그 결과 『훈민정음』 해례본의 <제자해> 텍스트 구조를 중심으로 초성자 제자에 반영된 음성·음운학적 지식을 정확히 숙지하고, 초성자 제자 원리에 대한 결과론적 지식을 과정적 지식으로 귀납해 보았다. 이 연구를 통해 한글의 제자 원리에 대한 교과내용지식의 지평을 확장시킬 수 있을 것이며, 한글의 제자 원리를 제대로 가르치는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.
The study highlights "SMK", which is soon to be known to teachers. The goal is to explore the Principle and Process of Creating Letter as a professional knowledge that teachers should have for more accurate and systematic teaching and learning of Hangeul. First, Chapter II explained the concept and scope of "SMK" and Chapter III analyzed the substance of the textbook on the principles of making graphemes in Korean through a teacher's guide. And in Chapter IV, we explored what kind of knowledge teachers should have. Accurately understand the phonetic knowledge reflected in the consonant disciple process, focusing on the text <Principle of creation Hangul Letters> of ≪Hunminjeum Haerybon≫. Through this study, we will be able to expand the scope of "SMK" for the principle of letter creation of Hangul and hopefully contribute to the proper teaching of the principle of letter Creation of Hangul.
