The purpose of this study is to examine the status of adaptation to Korean society of youths who immigrated from China and policy improvement plan. For this purpose, we conducted qualitative interviews with youths and guardian who immigrated from China, and conducted a expert survey of youth migration. The results showed that adolescents had difficulty in adapting to Korean language, adaptation to changed family situation, fear of adaptation to school, difficulty in career setting and preparation, problems of Korean friends, and social discrimination. Therefore, the following policy suggestions were proposed. First, comprehensive information guidance platform for migrant background youths, second, the development of textbooks for Korean language level and the development of professional Korean language teachers suitable for migrant background youths, third, support of counseling scale consisting of mother tongue language, enlarging of family counseling and customized program support for migrant background youths, fourth, systematization of career support program, establishment of direction for training of global talent in career education, and motivation induction in career education for migrant background youths, fifth, relaxation of visa policy for securing health rights, education rights, and employment for migrant background youths.
