This study collected data from www.riss.kr to analyze the research trend of personality education programs for juveniles. Total 54 articles were analyzed from 2000 to 2018. The analysis framework included characteristics of past literature (i.e., presentation year, type, and academic category) as well as program subjects and composition evaluation and research methods(i.e., research design and measurement tools), and effectiveness. The analysis revealed the following findings. First, the presentation of research papers increased over time. Second, in the fields of psychology and counseling, social welfare studies, and art therapy, personality education programs were actively carried out, among which art therapy programs were most frequently implemented. Third, convenience sampling was used in most of the studies, with a few cases conducting follow-up examinations. Finally, 133 measurement scales were used in the study, the most common of which were self-rated scales. Accordingly, we expect more active and diverse follow-up studies on juvenile personality education programs.
