Second, the contents related to socio-economic aspects including Sachang (社倉), markets (場市), roads (道路), etc. Especially, Sachang was one of the things which symbolized Heungseon Daewongun Regime's reforming politics. The contents recorded in 『Gyeonggieupji (京畿邑誌)』 in 1871 were visually expressed in the maps of Gyeonggi province in 1872. Third, it is noted that the changing aspect of Seowon (Private academies) according to the reformation ordinance as the result of the abolition of Seowon enforced by Heungseon Daewongun was reflected in the maps.
