This paper focuses on understanding the psychological realities of substitution, deletion, addition and reconstruction, which are four application methods of revision. Two variables were considered as the level of learner's language performance and the subject of revision. Although it exposes the limit that does not cover the limited number of participants and various variables of revision, it has significance as a field study on the psychological reality of revision. First, according to the level of language performance, addition and reorganization in both self correction and peer corrections were significantly higher in the group that was supposed to have high level of language performance. However, there was no significant difference in self correction between confrontation and deletion. Second, the results of the revision subjects showed no difference between the revision subjects in the case of substitution regardless of the language performance level, and the deletion and reorganization had a significantly higher frequency in the self correction.
