본 연구는 최근 한국 교회의 침체와 더불어 증가하고 있는 임지가 없는 목회의 현실을 직시하면서 신학대학 학생들의 진로 교육에 고심하는 소규모 신학대학 커리큘럼의 미래에 합당한 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 지금 한국 교회는 목회자 과잉 공급과 목회자의 자질 부족 문제로 상당한 어려움에 봉착해 있다. 그런데 전반적으로 목회 임지가 부족해지면서 세상 직업을 함께 갖는“이중직 목회자”가 점점 많이 나타나고 있는 현실이 다. 한국 교회는 이중직 목회의 필연적 현실성을 두고 찬반 논쟁과 더불어 이중직 목회에 대한 신학적 논의도 함께 진행되고 있다. 이에 사도 바울의 천막 제조업이 이중직의 성경적 근거로 제시되고 있고, 이중직 목회의 신학적 근거로 만인 제사장설, 직업 소명설, Missio Dei (하나님의 선교) 가 제시되고 있다. 김승호는 이중 소명을 받은 사역자가 목회직과 세속직을 동시에 수행하는 것이 미래 목회의 한 유형이 될 것이라고 전망 한다. 이런 논의를 살펴보면서 이제 한국 교회는 이중직 목회를 위한 목회 모델을 구상할 때가 되었고 이를 뒷받침 할 신학대학의 커리큘럼 개발의 필요성이 반드시 대두된다고 여겨진다. 한국 교회의 현실들로 인해 신학 대학에 지원하는 학생들이 점점 줄어들고 있기 때문에 소규모 신학대학의 생존에 심각한 문제가 생길 것은 너무나 분명한 일이다. 그러므로 이제 학생들뿐만 아니라 미래 세대의 사역자들을 위해서라도 신학대학이 이중직 목회 모델을 위해 커리큘럼을 개발해서 제시해야 할 때가 온 것이다. 학생들의 진로 문제를 개인이 능력껏 해결해야 할 문제라고 돌리는 것은 대학의 책임이 너무 무책임하다고 여겨지기 때문에 학생들에게 졸업 후의 진로도 확보해 주고, 또 학령 인구 감소에 따른 정원 모집에 고민하고 있는 소규모 신학대학이 현실 속에서 살아남을 수 있는 생존 전략도 필요한데 이 생존 전략과 더불어 이중직 목회의 모델을 연구하고 커리큘럼을 개발하여 소규모 신학대학뿐만 아니라 비슷한 규모의 종립대 학까지도 적용할 수 있도록 하자는 것이다.
This study recognizes the growing reality of pastors without a pastoral charge following the recent decline of the Korean church. It aims to present a model suitable for the future of the curriculum of small theological colleges which are concerned with the career education of students in theological semenary. Currently, the Korean church is producing more pastors than there are pastorates. Furthermore, there is considerable difficulty with regards to ministers’ lack of qualifications. This has led to a general shortage of a pastorates and a growing number of “bivocational ministries.” The Korean church is also in the midst of a theological debate on the bivocational ministry, as well as a pros and cons debate over the inevitable reality of the bivocational ministry. The archetype of Paul’s tent-making ministry is being presented as the biblical basis for those who promote bivocational ministry, The theological basis of bivocational ministry that is being suggested is the doctrine of universal sacrifice, the theory of job description, the mission of God. one type of ministry in the future is that a person who is under double calling can perform both ministry and Securement. Now it is time for the Korean church to devise a pastoral model for a bivocational ministry and the need for curriculum development of theological universities to support this is raised. because fewer and fewer students are applying to semenary and it is too obvious that there will be a serious problem with the survival of small theological universities. The problem is more than the shortage of studentsof students but extends to the future generations of workers. The time has come for the theology institutions to develop and present a curriculum for bivocational ministry.
