The purpose of the study is to examine the effects of stress perceived by government officials deployed for government-oriented festivals on job burnout. Three variables (stress, job burnout, job satisfaction) have been chosen for the study, and the structural equation model was conducted by using the statistical tool, SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0. The participants of the study were government officials deployed for Baekje Cultural Festival held in Gongju city. Questionnaires were distributed during the festival. A total of 246 participants were sampled for the study. Results indicated that stress related to the job, compensation, and job culture had an effect on job burnout. Moreover, it was confirmed that stress related to the organization and corporate culture had an effect on job satisfaction, and job burnout had a negative effect on job satisfaction.
