이 글은 김륭 동시를 통해 문학에서의 환상이 상상과 현실 사이에서어떻게 기능하는지 살피고, 폭로와 전복의 환상성이 나타나는 양상과치유 또는 유희적 환상성이 동심의 세계에 미치는 영향을 연구하는 데그 목적이 있다. 김륭 동시에서는 현대를 사는 어린이들의 억압적이고모순된 현실을 투영하는 과정에서 환상성이 두드러지게 나타나고 있기때문이다. 김륭은 동심도 진화한다는 창작정신을 바탕으로 관습적인 상상에서 탈피한 새로운 동시를 추구하는데, 그 과정에서 환상성 기법을차용해 동시의 확장을 시도했으며, 이러한 시도의 결과 관습적인 상상에서 벗어난 새로운 환상 동시의 세계를 구축했다고 판단된다. 김륭의 동시에 나타난 환상의 특성을 살펴 본 바, 먼저 그의 동시에서 상상과 현실 사이에서 환상이 어떻게 기능하고 있는지 살폈다. 상상과환상이 현실을 바탕으로 하지 않으면 망상이나 몽상에 그치고 말아 모래성과 같을 것이다. 그러한 문제를 해결하는 것으로 상상과 현실 사이에환상이 자리를 잡고 기능함으로써 환상은 명실공히 환상으로서의 위치를잃지 않는 것이다. 상상이 주로 은유적 알레고리를 형성해 1:1의 관계를설정한다면 환상은 1:多의 관계가 가능한 세계이다. 따라서 상상과 환상, 그리고 현실은 서로를 받쳐주는 공생관계의 관점에서 살펴보았다다음으로, 환상은 부조리한 세계를 폭로하거나 전복하는 양태를 띠면서기존의 관습과 편협으로부터의 탈피를 꾀하는데, 이 지점에 주목해 보았다. 또한 어린이가 처한 모순된 현실을 폭로와 전복의 환상성을 통해드러내는데 이는 환상에만 머물지 않고 종국에는 리얼리즘으로의 귀착을유도하고 있으며 나아가 아포리즘을 내포하는 환상으로까지 확장되고있음을 알 수 있었다. 끝으로 관계의 삶을 통해 드러나는 치유와 유희적 환상성에 집중했다. 어린이를 대상하는 동시문학 또한 자아와 타자 사이의 관계의 삶에서 멀리 있는 장르가 아니며, 자아의 이해를 넘어 타자를 이해하는 방편으로서 치유와 유희적 환상성이 개입하는 양상을 살필 수 있었다. 이렇게 본 연구는 김륭 동시를 중심으로 환상의 기능적 측면에서 상상과 현실 사이에 존재하는 환상에 천착했으며, 폭로와 전복 또는 관습과 편협으로부터의 탈피 차원에서 드러난 환상성에 대해 살폈다. 더불어 자아와 타자의 이해를 통한 치유와 유희적 환상성의 관점에서 고찰했다.
This study aims to examine the function of fantasy in literature between imagination and reality, aspects of fantasy of disclosure and overturning and the effect of healing or playful fantasy on the world of children’s poems, based on Kim Ryung’s children’s poems, which remarkably reveal fantasy in the process of projecting children’s oppressed and contradictory reality in modern days. Based on the spirit of creation to evolve children’s poems, Kim Ryung pursues a new type of children’s poems escaping from the conventional imagination. In that process, he attempted an expansion of children’s poems using a fantasy technique, and it is considered that this attempt led to a new fantasy world of children’s poems getting rid of the conventional imagination. In order to understand the characteristics of fantasy in Kim Ryung’s children’s poems, firstly, the function of fantasy between imagination and reality in his children’s poems was analyzed. When imagination and fantasy are not based on reality, it would end up with a delusion or a reverie like a sandcastle. By functioning between imagination and reality to resolve that issue, fantasy does not lose its position as fantasy, both in name and reality. Fantasy is the world facilitating an one-to-majority relationship, while imagination forms an one-to-one relationship using a metaphorical allegory mainly. Therefore, this study examined imagination, fantasy, and reality from the perspective of symbiotic relationship to support each other. Next, this study focused on the attempt of fantasy to escape from existing conventions and intolerance, disclosing or overturning the irrational world. He also reveals the contradictory reality of children through fantasy of disclosure and overturning. This demonstrates that he induces a return to realism eventually, not sticking to fantasy and furthermore, expands to fantasy with an aphorism. Lastly, this study concentrated on healing and playful fantasy revealed in the life of relationships. It was found that children’s poem targeting children was the genre that is not far away from the relationship between the ego and the other, and healing and playful fantasy intervened as a means to understand not only the ego but also the other. As stated above, focusing on Kim Ryung’s children’s poems, this study delved into fantasy between imagination and reality to comprehend the function of fantasy and analyzed fantasy to escape from disclosure and overturning or conventions and intolerance. Moreover, this study considered healing and playful fantasy, based on an understanding of the ego and the other.
