개혁주의생명신학은 또 다른 신학이 아니라 개혁주의를 근간으로 하는 실천원리, 즉 신앙운동을 제시한 것이다. 개혁주의 신학의 기본 원리인 5대 솔라, 오직 믿음(sola fide), 오직 성경(sola scriptura), 오직 은혜(sola gratia), 오직 그리스도(solus christus), 오직 하나님께 영광(soli deo gloria)을 근간으로 해서 신앙운동으로 실천하자는 것이다. 신학이 사변적인 학문에만 그칠 때 생명력을 잃게 되고 교회가 약해지며 본질적인 사명에 충실하기 어렵게 된다. 이러한 현실 앞에 제시된 대안적 신앙운동이 바로 개혁주의생명신학이다. 이 논문은 한국교회의 교회학교가 가야할 방향을 제시하기 위한 목적으로 작성되었다. 현재 한국교회의 교회학교 상황은 참담하기 그지없다. 언제나 다음세대를 준비하는 교회라는 말을 하지만 정작 다음세대의 주인공인 교회학교를 갱신하고 부흥하기 위한 직접적인 원리는 부족한 상태다. 무엇보다도 교회학교가 비전문가들에 의해서 운영되고 있고 부교역자들이 거쳐서 가는 과정 정도로만 운영되고 있음은 안타까운 일이 아닐 수 없다. 교회학교를 부흥시키고 다음세대에도 복음의 영향력을 이어가게 하는 방법은 무엇일까? 이 글은 우선 교회학교 교육을 어렵게 만드는 외부적인 상황과 내부적인 상황을 분석하고 설명한 후 개혁주의생명신학에 근거한 성경교육의 권리를 제시하였다. 그런 후에 개혁주의생명신학에 기초한 교회학교 운영을 위한 적용 가능한 프로그램을 소개하는 순서로 서술되었다. 교회학교 교육을 힘들게 하는 내부적인 요소로는 교회학교 교육의 목적 상실, 잘 훈련된 교사의 부족, 비전문가 교역자, 학부모들의 열의 부족을 들 수 있고, 외부적인 요인으로는 다원주의, 세속주의, 다문화주의, 편의주의를 들 수 있다. 이러한 내외부적인 요인들로 인해서 어려워진 교회학교 교육을 살리기 위해서 필자가 제시한 방법은 바로 개혁주의생명신학의 교육원리다. 성경을 신앙교육의 근간으로 삼고 성경통독, 공과공부시간의 확대, 성경과 관련된 많은 실제적인 행사를 교회학교에서 실시해야 한다고 주장했다. 사실 이러한 모든 프로그램은 이미 오래 전에 실시하던 것들이다. 그런데 새삼 이러한 행사들이 교회학교 안에서 다시 실시되어야 한다고 주장하는 이유는 성경을 떠난 교회교육이 얼마나 생명력이 없는지를 목도하고 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 개혁주의생명신학이 주장하는 ‘성경에 근거한 교회학교’ 원리를 잘 적용한다면 조국교회의 교회학교가 다시 부흥의 길을 걸을 것이다.

This paper is intended to present the direction in which the church schools of the Korean Church should go. The current situation at the church school in Korean church is deplorable. Although it is always said that the church is preparing for the next generation, it lacks the direct principle to renew and revive the church school, the main character of the next generation. Most of all, it is a pity that church schools are run by laymen and only as much as the processing for assistant pastors. go. How can we revive church schools and continue the influence of the gospel to the next generation? The article first analyzed and described the external situation and internal situation that makes church school education difficult, then presented the right of Bible education based on the reformed life theology. It was then described in order to introduce the applicable programs for the operation of church schools based on the reformed life theology. The internal factors that make church school education difficult include the purpose of church school education, the lack of well-trained teachers, the lack of enthusiasm of non-professional traders and parents, and the external factors include pluralism, secularism, multi-culturalism and convenienceism. The way I proposed to revive church school education, which has been hampered by these internal and external factors, is the principle of education in reformed life theology. Taking the Bible as the basis of religious education, I insisted that church schools should carry out many practical events related to the Bible, reading the Bible, expanding the time of public and private study, and conducting many of the Bible. In fact, all of these programs have been implemented a long time ago. However, the reason why these events should be held again is that they are witnessing how lifeless the church education, which has left the Bible, is because it. Therefore, if the principle of "church school based on the Bible" as advocated by the reformed life theology, the church school of the korean Church will again take the road to revival.
