Korea has serious youth unemployment problems due to low global growth and technological development. As a result, the younger generation is staying at school longer than in the past. Also, young Koreans have so many things to give up that they are called the N-Po generation, but they are also in the age group of the trend of a steady increase in overseas trip. The purpose of the study was to understand the essential meaning of the experience of people in their 20s and 30s on overseas trips, called the N-Po Generation to understand phenomenon, in-depth interviews were conducted with 12 participants in the study using Giorgi's phenomenological research methods. In this analysis, 30 key meanings and 8 themes were presented. five categories have been identified. The results how that N-po generations’s meaning of experience in overseas trip is as follows: (1)A struggle to survive in a cruel reality, (2)overseas trip as a career strategy, (3)the pursuit of psychological comfort through nature, (4)memories of the happy past, (5)opportunities to restore confidence. N-Po generations’s overseas trip was an act of trying to prepare for his future as a positive mind without succumbing to the difficult reality. Also, these actions were the result of human nature's pursuit of happiness.
