존재문은 범언어적으로 존재하는 구문이다. 그런 점에서 존재문 연구는 언어연구에서 중요한 위상을 지닌다. 중국어에서 존재문과 은현문은 동일하게 ‘NL+VP+NP’ 형식을 가지면서 의미적으로 긴밀하게 연결되어 있다. 그래서 존현문이라는 하나의 범주로 인식할 수 있다. 그렇지만 존재문과 달리 은현문에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 소홀한 것이 사실이다. 본고에서는 은현문 중, 특히 파손․손해의미를 나타내는 은현문에 대해 살펴보았다. 파손․손해의미 은현문이 중요한 것은 일반은현문과 더불어 은현문이라는 범주에 속하면서, 고유한 개별적 특성을 가지기 때문이다. 파손․손해의미 은현문은 구문이 발전해 가면서 새로운 구문생태계를 형성하는 과정을 보여주는 좋은 예이다. 우리는 ‘NL+VP+NP’ 형식의 구문이 존재문에서 은현문, 다시 파손․손해의미 은현문으로 발전해 나가는 것을 통해 언어의 생산력과 확장성을 확인할 수 있다. 또한 파손․손해의미 은현문은 은현문과 소유자-대상 구문 간의 관계를 이해하는 데에서도 중요하다. 통사적 면에서 파손․손해의미 은현문은 일반은현문과 소유자-대상 구문의 중간적 특성을 보인다. 특히 A부분에서 그러하다. 의미의 측면에 있어서는 파손․손해의미 은현문은 은현문과 소유자-대상 구문의 매개적 역할을 하고 있다. 소유자-대상 구문이 함축하고 있는 ‘발생’ 의미를 일반은현문과 연결지어주는 것은 파손․손해의미 은현문이다.
Existential construction exists cross-linguistically. So a study about existential construction is very important in linguistic studies. In modern Chinese, existential construction and fugitive construction have same sentence structure ‘NL+VP+NP’, and are closely related semantically. Therefore we can recognize it same category. Nevertheless, we can not deny that there is few study about fugitive construction relatively. In this paper, we discussed about fugitive construction, especially means damage. The reason that fugitive construction is important is that fugitive construction of damage meaning belongs to fugitive construction same as general fugitive construction and it has unique characteristics. Fugitive construction of damage meaning shows the progress that a construction creates new constructional ecosystem while it is evolving. We can see productivity and extendability of language through the evolving of ‘NL+VP+NP’ construction from existential construction to fugitive construction to fugitive construction of damage meaning. In addition, fugitive construction of damage meaning is important in understanding the relation fugitive construction and ‘possessor-subject possessee-object’ construction. Fugitive construction of damage meaning has features between general fugitive construction and ‘possessor-subject possessee-object’ construction syntactically. Fugitive construction of damage meaning also plays a intermediate role semantically.
