本論文主要調查兩岸人民實際使用的標準漢語並瞭解其特徵。筆者認為調查台灣年輕人說的標準語是本研究的關鍵，因為1949年以來國民黨在臺灣普及國語，受到國語教育的前兩三代的臺灣人說的國語不是很標凖，而且受到臺語的影響，所以相對來說，現在的臺灣年輕人說的國語裡面比較少有臺語的方言成分。本文主要使用兩種研究方法，第一種是問卷調查，第二種是訪問調查，筆者向24名臺灣年輕人進行了這兩種調查。通過這項調查發現臺灣年輕一代所說的國語，從語音、詞彙、語法、發話習慣等各方面來說，跟中國大陸人民說的普通話相比，存在不少的差異。並且我們認為臺灣年輕人心目中把國語定爲和其他種族溝通的重要的工具以及跟中國大陸人民交流的關鍵。
In order to understand the reality of "GuoYu(國語)" used by Taiwanese people, we conducted surveys and face-to-face interviews with 24 Taiwanese students studying in Korea, And a comparative analysis method was adopted. In addition, we used the method of asking the interviewees about the actual state of "GuoYu(國語)" of the grandparents 'generations and their parents' generations in order to understand the usage patterns of the "GuoYu(國語)" in Taiwan. As a result of this study, there was a remarkable difference between the "GuoYu(國語)" used by the Taiwanese youths and "PuTongHua(普通話)" of mainland Chinaand with the various elements such as pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and utterance habits. However, Taiwanese young people are embracing Taiwanese "GuoYu(國語)" as a means of communicating with various ethnic groups, and considered it as the key to maintaining mutual cooperation despite the differences in the standard language of the Cross-strait between Mainland China and Taiwan.
