This study examines the ministerial satisfaction of women in church leadership positions related to spirituality and marital satisfaction. Women, more so than men, take responsibility for the family. With the growing difficulty in balancing ministry involvement and family work, dual vocations can become a burden for the female trying to do her ministry. Therefore, the researcher has examined women’s experiences through a qualitative study. Eight women in leadership positions at First Baptist Church of New Orleans in the United States and five women in leadership positions at Korean churches in South Korea participated in this study. Based on the results, spiritual well-being based on the intimate relationship with God and marital satisfaction based on support for their ministry from their family and spouse are perceived as factors of ministerial satisfaction for women in church ministry.
