본 연구의 목적은 저소득 노인을 위한 주거대안의 한 유형으로 최근 등장한 공공형 노인복지주택의 성과에 관해 탐색하는 것이다. 공공형 노인복지주택의 성과에 관한 실증적 근거 구축을 위해 ‘플랫폼으로서의 주택’이라는 개념적 틀을 활용하였다. 가장 최근 지어진, 그리고 가장 큰 규모의 공공형 노인복지주택에 입주하고 있는 노인 전체를 조사대상으로 하였으며, 최종 76명의 설문 자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 조사대상자의 인구사회학적 특성, 공공형 노인복지주택 입주 요인 및 공공형 노인복지주택에 대한 인식, 서비스 이용 실태와 필요도, 공공형 노인복지주택의 주택 성과 중심으로 결과를 살펴보았다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 공공형 노인복지주택의 방향 및 후속 연구에 대해 구체적으로 제안하였다.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the outcome of the public welfare housing for older adults, which has been very recently emerged as a type of housing alternatives for low-income older adults. It was based on the conceptual framework of ‘housing as a platform' to establish empirical evidence on the effectiveness of public welfare housing. The survey with older adults living in the most recently-built and largest public welfare housing were conducted and 76 data were used for analysis. The results were presented as follow; on the demographic characteristics of the older people, the factors of moving in and the perceptions on the housing, and the outcomes of the housing. Based on the results, the future direction and subsequent research questions on the public welfare housing for older adults were suggested.
