In this study, we examine how zhe (者) can be translated in Sektok Kwukyel, and in Idu. In the result, we divide zhe-constructions used in Chinese Classics into four types. They are noun phrase construction, topic marker and condition marker, meaning explanation construction, and other usages. In other usages, there are time expression, classifier expression, and suffix. Consequently, the number of all usages are 9. They are the result of interpretation by a Kwukyel interpreter. In Idu, zhe has two usages: topic marker and condition marker. These two usages of zhe are thought to be influenced by the usages in Chinese Classics.
