본 연구의 목적은 글 없는 그림책 이야기 꾸미기 활동이 유아의 창의성에 어떠한 효과가 있는지 알아보고자 K 초등학교 병설 유치원 만 5세 유아 2학급 50명을 대상으로 실험집단 25명은 글 없는 그림책을 제공하여 이야기 꾸미기 활동을 실시하였고, 통제집단 25명은 글 없는 그림책을 제공하되 계획적인 이야기 꾸미기 활동은 실시하지 않고 주 1회씩 10주 동안 실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 글 없는 그림책 이야기 꾸미기 활동을 실시한 실험집단 유아의 창의성과 유창성, 융통성, 독창성, 상상력이 통제집단의 유아보다 높게 나타났다.
The purpose of this experimental study is to examine the effect of the story-making activity with wordless picture books on young children’s creativity. The subjects chosen for this study were 50 young childrens in an attached kindergarten of K elementary school. They were divided into two groups, experimental group and comparative group. The experimental group were taught using the story-making activity with wordless picture books according to the program. The comparative group were taught using the same wordless picture books but not doing the story-making activity like the experimental group. The subjects of each group were taught by each teaching method once a week for ten weeks. Followings are the results of this study. The story-making activity with wordless picture books have an influence on young children’s creativity, fluency, flexibility, originality, imagination.
