The research problems set for the purpose of this study are as follows. First, Identify the relationship between franchise bakery employees' protean career and job satisfaction. Second, Identify the relationship between franchise bakery employees' protean career and turnover intentions. Third, The relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention of franchise bakery employees. This study analyzed 225 franchise bakery employees in Seoul and Gyeonggi area using statistical program of SPSS 12.0 version to analyze the effect of the profession of franchise bakery employees on job satisfaction and turnover intention. The statistical techniques used were frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis. As a result, The self - initiative of the protean career showed an impact of negative(−) on job satisfaction. The higher the number of employees, the higher the degree of self-directed career needs. Second, The self-initiative of the protean career showed an impact of positive (+) on turnover intention. This leads to self-directed career and to finding new jobs. The more you lead yourself, the higher the turnover intention. The academic implications of this study should be to find ways to effectively manage the self-leading Protean career owners who constantly try to develop themselves through value orientation that values individual values and continuous learning and cognitive activities. The implications of this study are as follows. It is necessary to assign a challenging job to employees who have a protean career, to analyze their career obstacles and to resolve their own values. Institutional devices are required to encourage loyalty.
