본 연구는 언론사와 이용자의 정치성향 일치여부와 기사 프레임이 신문기사 신뢰도에 미 치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 조선일보, 한겨레신문을 각각 보수와 진보를 대표하는 언론매체로 선정하고 ‘차세대 전투기 도입 사업’을 주제로 한 실험처치물을 각각 정치와 과학 프레임으 로 나누어 처치한 뒤 이용자의 기사에 대한 신뢰도를 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 사회적 이슈를 정치화 하여 보도하는 행위는 이용자의 객관적 판단을 저해하는 요소인 것으로 밝혀졌다.
This study examined the effect of the newspaper articles on the trustworthiness. The Chosun Ilbo and the Hankyoreh newspapers were classified as media representing conservatism and liberalism, and the experimental treatments on the article theme of "Next Generation Fighter Introduction Project" were divided into political and scientific frames respectively. For this purpose, 489 adults over 19 years old in Korea were collected. This study adopted an experimental design with 2 (political consistent article/ political dicrepant article) x 2 (Political frame / Scientific frame). results of this study are as follows. First, the consistency of the press and the news audiences' attitudes influenced the reliability of the articles. In detail, when the tendencies were consistent, the article reliability was higher than that of the newspapers. On the other hand, the difference in reliability between the science and political frames was not statistically significant. Finally, this research examined the effect of framing on newspapers. The results showed that only when newspapers are politically framed, there is the difference according to the discrepancy between the audiences and the news article. In the science frame articles, the agreement of the audiences and the news article did not affect the reliability of news article. As the result of the above experiments, it can be interpreted that the act of politicizing and reporting of audiences on social issues is an obstacle to objective judgment of audiences.
