본 연구는 영유아들을 위한 건강하고 효율적인 어린이집 운영을 돕기 위한 목적으로, 현장에서 발생하는 미세먼지 관련 문제들에 대한 현상 분석 및 대처 방법과 함께 보다 장기화 될 미세먼지 문제에 대한 대책 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 연구에는 미세먼지 문제에 관심을 갖고 있는 10명의 현직 어린이집 원장들이 참여하였고, 원장들을 대상으로 저널 작성 및 개별 심층면담이 이루어졌다. 그 결과 원장들은 미세먼지 문제로 인한 부모 요구에 대한 이해와 수용의 어려움, 교사 고충에 대한 파악과 지원의 어려움, 원장 역할 행동에 대한 요구 증가의 어려움을 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또, 이러한 어려움에 대해서는 부모와의 신뢰감 형성하기, 교사의 지식과 기술 증진시키기, 원장의 역량 강화하기의 방법으로 대처하고 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 어린이집에서 발생하는 미세먼지 관련 문제에 대해 보다 깊이있게 탐구해 본 원장들은 교육을 통한 인식 전환, 관리 체제 정비, 안전 기술 제공, 재정적 지원, 영유아 교육과정에 대한 고민이라는 대책 방안을 제시하게 되었다.
In order to help the administration of child care centers in a healthy and efficient way for infants and children, this study provides the field analysis on fine dusts and coping strategies, as well as the means to deal with prolonging find dust problems. For this, ten child care center directors interested in fine dust problems, participated in the study and the journal writing and in-depth interviews were conducted on them. As a result, the directors were found to be experiencing difficulties in understanding and accepting parents' demands related to fine dust problems, difficulties in grasping and supporting teachers' struggles, and difficulties in increased expectations for directors' role behavior. The directors coped with these difficulties by forming trust with parents, promoting teachers' knowledge and skills, and strengthening directors' competency. The directors who studied problems related to fine dust generated in child care centers proposed following counter plans: recognition change through education, improving management system, providing security skill, financial support, and need for consideration about the curriculum for infants and young children.
