이 논문은 반성의 순수한 매개와 구별해서 근거의 실재적인 매개를 다루는 헤겔의 근거논리학에서 형식과 본질의 관계 문제를 고찰한다. 그러나 이 문제는 한편으로 칸트의 선험철학과 셸링의 동일성철학을 포함하는 전통 형이상학과, 다른 한편으로는 헤겔의 고유한 변증법과 밀접히 관련되어 있는 문제이다. 이 때문에 이 논문에서는 근거로서의 본질 개념이 어떻게 본질과 형식 개념으로 이원화되고, 형식을 구성하는 형식규정들은 어떠한 특징을 지니고 있으며, 그리고 근거의 실재적인 매개가 구체적으로 형식과 본질의 관계에서 어떻게 투영되어 나타나는지, 마지막으로 형식과 본질의 실재적인 관계가 전통 형이상학과 관련해서 그리고 헤겔의 고유한 변증법과 관련해서 어떠한 의미를 지니고 있는지, 이 물음들이 고찰될 것이다. 그리고 이를 통해서 본질의 형식내재성과 형식초월성의 내재적인 관계가 어떻게 구조화되고 이해되는지, 이와 함께 본질의 단초적인 통일 구조가 근거 개념과 관련해서 어떻게 실현되 는지가 서술될 것이다.
This paper is engaged with the question of the relation between Form and Essence (Form und Wesen) in Hegel’s Logic of Ground (Logik des Grundes), which describes the ‘real’ mediation of Ground. This real mediation should be distinguished from the ‘pure’ mediation of Reflection. This problem is on the one hand closely related to traditional metaphysics, which includes the philosophy of Kant’s transcendental philosophy and Schelling’s identity philosophy, and at the same time to Hegel’s own dialectic on the other hand. For this reason, in this paper the following questions are to be researched; how the concept of Essence as Ground can be divided into Essence and Form, what are the features of the formal determinations constituting Form (Formbestimmungen), and how the real mediation of Ground is concretely projected in the relation between Form and Essence. Finally, it will be investigated about what kind of meaning does the real relation between Form and Essence have in relation to both traditional metaphysics and Hegel’s own dialectic. Through this, it will be explained how the immanent relation between ‘formimmanence’ and ‘formtranscendence’ of Essence is structured and understood, and how the fundamental unified structure of Essence is realized in relation to the concept of Ground.
