이 논문은 앞일에 대한 모종의 정보가 내재될 수 있는 괘를 어떠한 원리에 의해 어떻게 얻어낼 수 있는지, 즉 괘 획득의 원리 및 방법에 관한 논리를 밝히려고 한다. 그리고 이와 관련한 기존의 견해들이 가지는 오류는 괘사(卦辭)와 효사(爻辭)의 의미 및 그 관계적 의미를 제대로 파악하지 못한 데에 그 근본원인이 있을 수 있다. 따라서 이 본문은 우선 이들의 의미를 명확히 하고 있다. 그리고 그럼으로써 가지게 되는 사실들을, 앞선 연구에서 알아내었던 설시(揲蓍)를 하는 과정에서는 원하는 일과 관련해 ‘의식적 무작위(意識的 無作爲)’를 해야 한다는 사실과 더불어, 기본전제로 하여 괘 획득방법론을 이루기 위한 제반조건을 이끌어내고 있다. 즉 전자의 가정들로부터 그 절차과정은 하나의 체계로 괘와 효를 모두 동시에 얻어낼 수 있도록 구성되어야한다. 그리고 후자의 가정으로부터 그 절차과정은 ‘의식적 무작위’를 도울 수 있어야하기 때문에, 표준적이어야 하고, 너무 번잡하지 않아야 하며, 그것의 각 단계들은 앞일과 관련해 모종의 상징성을 띨 수 있어야한다. 그런 후, 이러한 제반조건에 입각하여 완전한 괘 획득방법론에 접근하고 있다.
This paper aims to clarify the logic of the principle and method for obtaining the guà that can be embedded some kind of information about the future. The fallacy of the preceding views on this may be attributed to the inability to grasp the meaning of the guàcí(卦辭) and the yáocí(爻辭) and the relative meaning of the two. Therefore, this paper clarifies their meanings first. And this paper makes the facts from them as basic premises, along with fact that I found out in the previous study: that is, the fortuneteller should not intend and concentrate on consciousness in the process doing dié-shī(揲蓍). Then this paper draws from the premises the necessary conditions for completing the methodology for obtaining the guà. That is, depending on the former assumptions, the procedural process should be structured so that both the guà and the yáo(爻) can be obtained in one system at the same time. And depending on the latter assumption, the procedural process should be standard, not too repetitive or complicated, and each of its stages should have some symbolism in relation to the future. And then, based on these conditions, this paper approaches the complete methodology for obtaining the guà.
