본 연구의 목적은 부산 원도심 및 대중가요를 대상으로 빅데이터 분석을 실시하여 학습자가 주도적으로 활용할 수 있는 원도심과 관련이 깊은 대중가요 중심의 지리답사 코스를 개발하고, 그 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 먼저 부산 원도심 관련 빅데이터 및 부산을 노래한 대중가요 텍스트 데이터의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 지역화 학습에 필요한 실효성 높은 자산을 선정하였다. 다음으로 두 분석 결과를 기반으로 지역화 학습에 필요한 학습자 주도형 지리답사 코스를 개발하였다. 끝으로 개발한 지리답사 코스를 학습자가 직접 체험하고 그 효과성을 검증하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부산을 노래한 대중가요 가사는 주로 원도심 지역에 대한 비율이 높았으며, 원도심과 관련된 대중가요의 가사 속에 나타난 관련 자산은 바다를 상징하는 경관으로 부산항, 오륙도, 부두 등이 있었으며, 육지를 상징하는 경관으로 동래온천, 부산역 등이 있었다. 또한 바다와 육지가 함께 나타나는 경관으로는 광복동, 자갈치시장 등을 포함하는 남포동 일대, 영도다리, 송도 등이 나타났다. 둘째, 학생들은 노래비와 같은 인문환경적 자산과의 연계된 지리답사 코스를 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 빅데이터를 통한 지리답사 코스는 지역화 학습에 필요한 현장체험학습에 필요한 실효성을 제고할 수 있는 자산을 제시할 수 있어 교과형 도서 내지 지역화 교과서에 제시된 자료나 교사의 주관적인 판단에 의해 제시된 자료보다 효과성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 부산 원도심 및 대중가요 대상의 빅데이터 분석에 기반한 학습자 주도형 지리답사 코스의 개발은 지역화 학습에 대한 학습성취도 및 만족도가 높아 실효성이 높으며, 궁극적으로 사회과교육에서 추구하는 지역화를 통한 지역애 뿐만 아니라 사회과적 사고력을 함양하게 될 것으로 기대된다.
The purpose of this research is to analyze big data for Busan’s old downtown and popular songs, to develop a geographic fieldwork course that learners can take initiative, and verify its effect. The process to achieve this purpose is as follows; First, selected assets with high effectiveness necessary for regional learning based on the analysis of big data related to Busan’s old downtown and the popular song text data analysis that sang Busan. Next, based on the results of both analyzes, we developed a geographic fieldwork course that allows learners to take the initiative in mainly popular songs closely related to Busan’s old downtown’s assets necessary for regional learning. Finally, the learner-directly experienced the geographical investigation course developed and verified the effectiveness. The results of the study are as follows; First, popular song singing in Busan has a high ratio to the Busan’s old downtown area, and the assets in the lyrics are divided into landscapes that symbolize the sea and land. Second, students prefer geographic fieldwork courses linked to human and environmental assets. Third, the geographic fieldwork course through big data can present the assets that can enhance the effectiveness needed for regional learning. Therefore, it is possible to use the data presented in textbooks or regional textbooks. In conclusion, the development of the learner-led geographic fieldwork course based on the big data analysis of Busan’s old downtown and the public song is highly effective because it has high learning achievement and satisfaction with the regional learning. Ultimately, it is expected to develop local patriotism as well as geographical thinking through social studies education.
