Legal gambling industry in Korea is casino, horse racing, bicycle racing, boat racing, lottery, sports promotion vote, bull fighting. In this study, we classified these gambling industries into three categories: casino business, lottery business, and sports betting business. After that analyzed how economic factors affect the gambling industry of Korea. The results of the study are as follows. The sales of gambling industry is continuously increasing, and the average sales growth rate is much higher than the average GDP growth rate of Korea. In particular, the proportion of sports betting accounts for more than 70% of the sales of gambling industry. The correlation of gambling industries with economic variables has a strong positive correlation except working hours per week. These results indicate that they are affected by economic changes. As a result of the regression analysis, it is possible to show all the regression equations as change of the entertainment culture expenditure. Therefore, as the economy grows and develops, the expenditure of entertainment and culture spending by households and individuals will increase, leading to the development of gambling industry.
