본 연구는 녹색 식생활에 기반한 인성교육활동이 유아의 생명존중 인식․공동체 의식․배려행동에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 알아보는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 대상은 어린이집 4,5세 혼합반 남, 녀 유아 47명이었으며, 이 중 실험집단의 유아 25명을 대상으로 2017년 5월 2일부터 2017년 7월 21일까지 매주 2차시씩 실험처치를 실시하였다. 실험집단에는 녹색 식생활에 기반한 인성교육활동을 실시하였으나 통제집단에서는 누리과정에 따른 인성교육이 이루어졌다. 연구결과 첫째, 녹색 식생활에 기반한 인성교육활동은 유아의 생명존중 인식을 높이는데 효과적이다. 즉, 유아의 생명존중 지식, 생명존중 태도, 생명존중 행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 녹색 식생활에 기반한 인성교육활동은 유아의 공동체 의식을 전반적으로 향상시켰다. 즉, 유아의 공동체 의식 중 소속감, 조화, 자발적 참여, 일체감 및 상호영향 의식에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 녹색 식생활에 기반한 인성교육활동은 유아의 배려행동을 전반적으로 향상시켰다. 즉, 유아의 배려행동 중 정서적 행동, 규범적 행동, 가치부여적 행동에서 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.


The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of character education based on green diet on children's perception of life respect, community spirit and caring behavior. The subjects of this study were 47 children aged 4 and 5 (25 experimental group and 22 control group) of I childcare center and E childcare center in N city. The program was conducted on 25 children in experimental group 2 times a week for 12 weeks from May 2 to July 21, 2017. Character education based on green diet was conducted for the experiment group. Contrary, character education was carried out according to the Nuri curriculum in the control group. The results of this study are as follows: First, character education based on green diet was effective in raising children's perception of life respect. It has been found that the activities of character education based on green diet have a positive effect on children's life respect knowledge, life respect attitude and life respect behavior. Second, the activities of character education based on green diet generally improved children’s perception of community spirit. It was found that the sense of belonging, harmony, voluntary participation, sense of unity and mutual influence among children's community spirit had a positive influence. Third, the activities of character education based on green diet generally improved children’s caring behaviors. It was revealed that the activities of character education based on green diet had a positive influence on emotional behavior, normative behavior, and value-giving behavior among young children's caring behaviors.
