In this study, we compared and analyzed the RCA, SRCA and TSI indices relative to anti-dumping goods measures which China imposed on Korea. The data analyzed in this study dynamically explain how the competitiveness of Korea changed before and after the anti - dumping measures were instituted. Results showed that China is focusing on chemical products since it is protected by the state and because the chemical industry has a significant influence on the national economy. It seems that individual companies are entitled to apply for anti-dumping investigation independently because of the high market share of related companies. Another finding in this study is that Korea’s RCA and TSI indices are much higher than China. This situation is a result of the global economic downturn. Moreover, China is also likely to use anti-dumping measures more frequently as part of its industry protection policy and retaliatory measures. In particular, because of China’s high use of anti - dumping measures, the chemical industries in other countries including Korea need to elicit China’s reaction, get information in advance, and actively deal with it.
