본 연구는 한국기독교박물관에 소장된 자료의 현황을 고찰하고 이를 중심으로 근대문학 연구의 활용 방안을 제시하고자 했다. 구체적인 연구내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국기독교박물관에 소장된 39점의 고전 자료를 분석하였다. 둘째, 언더우드와 게일의 『한영자전』의 사료적 가치와 번역어로서의 언어인식에 대한 고찰을 연구방안으로 제시하였다. 셋째, 근대초기의 번역문학과 관련한 자료를 분석하여 연구의 가능성을 모색했다. 넷째, 근대초기 서양선교사가 간행한 『찬송가』자료의 현황을 소개하고 근대시가문학과의 관련연구가 가능한 점을 제시했다.
The study looked at the current status of the materials in the Korean Christian Museum and analyzed the use of the Modern Literature Research. First, 39 classical data were analyzed. Second, I examined the historical value of Underwood and Gail’s Korean- English Dictionary and the language recognition as a translator. Third, it presented the possibility of research by analyzing data related to the early modern period of Translated- Literature. Fourth, the relationship between the Hymns and Modern Poetry published by the Western Missionary in the early modern era was analyzed.
