‘헤겔 르네상스’라고 일컬어질 만큼 헤겔 철학에 대한 영ㆍ미권의 관심은 최근 들어 고조되었다. 물론 이것은 ‘Semantic Pragmatism’이라는 이름 아래 헤겔의 도움으로 의미론적 및 인식론적인 문제에 새로운 해결책을 제시하려는 시도만을 염두에 두고 말하는 것은 아니다. 오히려 최근의 경향은 그동안 부정적으로 인식되던 ‘논리학’을 원문에 충실하면서도 현대 철학적 담론 속에서 이해하려는 시도와 함께 시작된다. 소위 ‘비형이상학적’ 헤겔 이해가 그것인데, 우리는 본 글에서 이러한 몇 가지 시도들에 대해 간략히 살펴본 후, 그 문제점들은 무엇인지 제시한 후, ‘논리학’에 대한 올바른 이해를 위해서는 어떤 조건이 충족되어야 하는지, 그리고 ‘논리학’에 대한 우리가 이해가 무엇인지를 보여주고자 한다.
The interest of American philosophers in Hegelian philosophy has recently risen so much that it is called 'Hegelian Renaissance'. Of course, this is not an attempt to propose a new solution for semantic and epistemological problems under the name of ‘semantic pragmatism’ with the help of Hegel. Rather, the recent tendency starts with an attempt to understand 'logic' which has been perceived as negative in the meantime, while trying to understand it in modern philosophical discourse. This is so-called "non-metaphysical" understanding about Hegel. In the following section I would like to briefly discuss some of these understandings and then introduce what their problems are. And with that, I would like to show what conditions must be fulfilled for a proper understanding of »Logic« and what my understanding of »Logic« is.
