In order to link learning and career, the current study attempted to proposed an extended model of goal-directed behavior(MGB) for career preparation behavior by inserting academic self-efficacy. The survey was carried out from the 1st to 22nd, November, 2017. 500 questionnaires were distributed to four university students who majored in tourism related departments in Busan. Finally, 428 were returned, and 378 were into final analysis by eliminating unusable questionnaires. SPSS and AMOS were used to analyse the collected data. The study results from the structural equation modelling(SEM) indicated that all hypothesized relationships were supported. Therefore, the management of academic self-efficacy was demonstrated a useful method to link learning and career since it was a influential factor on both desire and career preparation behavior.
