하이데거의 존재와 시간에서 현존재의 본래성에 특징적인 ‘각자성’ 은 종종 현존재 개념에 대한 유아론적 오해를 야기한다. 이와 관련해 최근 H. B. 슈미트(Schmid)는 본래성의 각자성을 ‘공동성’으로 재해석하려는 흥미로운 시도를 보여주고 있다. 그러나 본래성/비본래성의 통상적인 구분을 유지하는 그의 대안은 비본래적인 존재방식을 ‘깨진 우리’, 즉 공동성이 결핍된 존재방식으로 치부하는 한계를 보여준다. 이때 우리는 현존재의 각자성을 염두에 둔 것으로 보이는 H. 아렌트의 비판적 관점을 함께 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 왜냐하면 그녀의 관점은 본래성의 각자성을 단순히 공동성으로 대체하려 하지 않고, 본래성의 가능한 추상성을주제화함으로써 본래성의 공동성과 현실성을 확보할 수 있는 단초를 제공하는 것으로 보이기 때문이다. 슈미트의 재해석과 아렌트의 날카로운비판은 결국 본래성의 각자성을 현실적인 삶의 지평에서 재해석할 필요성을 제기한다. 그런데 존재와 시간 이전에 주제화되었던 ‘현사실성’ 개념이 바로 이러한 재해석을 위해 유의미하게 고려될 수 있는 것처럼보인다. 왜냐하면 하이데거의 현사실성 개념은 원칙적으로 구체적인 ‘세계’와 ‘타인’을 현존재의 유일한 지평, 즉 자기근거로 규정하기 때문이다. 이점에서 현사실성 개념은 최근 슈미트의 시도를 심화시킬 수 있는대안으로 다시금 주제화될 필요가 있다.
The so called ‘individuality’, which is characteristic of the authenticity of Dasein, often leads to solipsistic misunderstanding of the concept of Dasein. In this regard, H. B. Schmid recently showed an interesting attempt to reinterpret the individuality of authenticity as communality. However, his alternative that maintains a conventional distinction between authenticity and inauthenticity shows the limit of considering the inauthentic existence as 'broken-us'. It means a existence lacking communality. At this point, we need to look at Arendt's critical point of view with individuality of Dasein in mind. Because her viewpoint is not simply to replace individuality of authenticity with communality, but to provide a basis for securing communality and reality by subjecting abstractity to subject matter. Schmidt's reinterpretation and Arendt's sharp criticism eventually raise the need to reinterpret individuality of authenticity in a realistic life horizon. By the way, it seems that the concept ‘facticity’, which was introduced earlier in Being and Time, can provide a starting point for such reinterpretation. Heidegger's concept of facticity defines the concrete world and others in principle as the only horizon of Dasein, that is, self-ground. In this sense, the concept of facticity needs to be discussed as a meaningful possibility to deepen Schmidt's attempts.
