The purpose of this study is to give some suggestions to improve seminary education by finding the characteristics and competencies necessary for ministers who serve in today’s changing ministry. This study found that “spirituality,” “Christlike character,” and “practical and field-centered skills” are important characteristics and competencies for today’s ministers to have. In addition to these three characteristics and competencies for seminaries to focus for their education, an interdisciplinary approach was suggested to improve seminary education
