이 글에서는 최승호의 시를 대상으로 신과학의 관점을 통한 심층생태주의의 복잡성을 논의했다. 먼저 생태계 내 모든 개체의 생성이 무(無)로부터가 아닌 미분화 상태, 혼돈으로부터 출현한다는 카오스의 창조성이 논의되었다. 그의 시는 빅뱅(Big Bang), 허공, 무(無), 반죽, 여백의 이미지로서 생태계의 비선형성, 비가시성, 비가역적인 특징을 나타낸다. 이러한 사유는 데이비드 보음의 숨은 질서, 로렌츠의 카오스 이론을 통해 신과학적 심층생태주의의 복잡성으로 논의되었다. 이러한 논의는 프랙탈의 자기유사성에 관한 논의로 이어졌다. 최승호 시에 나타나는 모든 개체의 생성과 성장, 소멸의 과정이 전체 생태계와 합일하는 양상이보임으로써 프랙탈의 자기유사성으로 의미화된 것이다. 이러한 사유에 대한 그의시적 표현은 우주와 소우주의 대칭, 단어, 문장의 반복 등으로 암시되었다. 그의 시에 나타나는 프랙탈의 자기유사성이 심층생태주의의 복잡성으로 논의된 것이다. 마지막으로 엔트로피와 자기조직화의 창발적 생성이 심층생태주의의 복잡성으로 논의되었다. 최승호 시에서 생태계 내 모든 개체와 전체는 초기 조건의 민감성,되먹임 조절, 엔트로피를 통한 자기조직화의 항상성으로 분석되었다. 최승호 시에표상된 생태계의 개체적 존재와 전체 생태계는 엔트로피와 자기조직화의 창발적생성을 노정한다는 것이다.
This paper presents a discussion about the complexity of deepecology in Choi Seung-ho's poetry from the perspective of NewScience. The study first talked about the creativity of undifferentiation,which maintains that all individuals in the ecosystem are createdfrom the state of undifferentiation and the emergence from chaosrather than nihility. The images of Big Bang, void, nihility, doughand blank space in Choi Seung-ho's poetry imply the non-linear,invisible, and irreversible characteristics of chaos and confusion inGaia. This led to complexity of deep ecology through theperspective of new science through David Bohm's Hidden Orderand Edward Lorentz's Chaos Theory. This was followed by a discussion on the self-similarity offractals. In Choi Seungho's poems, the self-similarity of fractals wasmeant by showing a pattern of uniting the process of generation,growth, and extinction of individuals with the entire ecosystem. Hispoetic expression about this reason was implied through thesymmetry of the universe and microcosm, and the repetition ofwords and sentences, etc. The self-similarity through fractals in hispoetry was discussed as the complexity of deep ecology. Finally, the emergent creation of entropy and self-organizationwas discussed as complexity of deep ecology. Choi Seungho'spoetry presented the self-organization of each individual and the entire ecosystem was discussed as homeostasis through entropy, thefeedback control, Sensitivity on initial conditions. In the ecosystemrepresented in his poetry, all the individual beings and the entireecosystem show the expressions of emergent creation of entropyand self-organization.
