개신교 선교에서 연합운동의 신호탄을 쏘아 올린 1910년 에든버러 대회는 이 세대 안에 세계복음화의 실현을 긍정적으로 평가했다. 그러나 제2차 세계대전의 종전과 함께 피선교지의 많은 나라가 독립하였고 선교를 거부하는 종족이 증가하였다. 21세기 복음화율이 매우 낮은 창의적 접근지역은 목회자의 진입을 불허하고 전도와 교회개척도 불가능하다. 대신, 전문인 선교사는 진입과 비자 취득이 용이하고 역동적으로 사역을 감당할 수 있다. 로잔운동은 온 인류를 향해 복음을 들고 나아가는 세계복음화를 지향한다. 로잔 언약(LC), 마닐라 선언(MM), 그리고 케이프타운 서약(CTC)은 구원에서 예수 그리스도의 유일성을 견지하고 종교다원주의와 종교혼합주의를 부인한다. CTC의 주제어 ‘화해(Reconciliation)’는 하나님의 사랑에 기초한다. 세상과 온 인류를 향한 그분의 사랑은 복음에 대한 사랑의 증거이다. 또한 주님을 향한 복종의 표현이고 선교의 강력한 원동력이다. CTC는 하나님의 백성에게 온전한 복음을 통한 섬김의 삶을 강조한다. 2010년부터 로잔진영은 ‘총체적 선교(Integral Mission)’라는 용어를 사용한다. 하나님은 선교의 모든 차원을 총체적이고 역동적으로 실천하기 원하신다. 하나님과 그분의 나라, 그리고 그분의 복음이 총체적이기 때문이다. 그리고 하나님의 선교가 이루어지는 세상은 그리스도인에게 일터이자 그분의 선교를 감당하는 장소이다. 하나님은 세상에서 자신의 백성을 부르고 자신의 선교에 동참시키신다. 즉 모든 그리스도인은 세상으로 보냄 받고 하나님의 목적을 성취해야 할 선교사이다. 결론적으로 총체적 선교는 세상에 복음을 선포하고 그리스도인이 삶과 신앙을 성경적으로 동일하게 드러내는 것이다. 21세기 전방개척 선교지에서 전문인 선교는 로잔운동이 강조하는 총체적 선교를 감당할 수 있는 높은 가능성을 가진다. 무엇보다 전문인 선교사는 자신이 습득한 지식과 기술을 갖고 일터에서 영향력을 행사할 수 있다. 복음이 전문인 선교사의 소명인 직업(Life Work)을 통하여 세상과 사람들에게 침투되기 때문이다. 그러므로 전문인 선교사는 예수 그리스도의 지상명령을 수행하고 이웃사랑의 실천을 삶으로 증거할 수 있는 하나님의 선교의 주요한 도구이다.
The 1910 Edinburgh Conference, which launched a flare in protestant mission, positively assessed the realization of world evangelization in this generation. However, many countries of the mission field were independent with the end of the Second World War and the number of peoples who refused to mission increased steadily. In the 21st century, creative access area with a very low rate of evangelization do not allow pastor to enter, evangelism and church planting are impossible. Instead, tentmaker is able to enter and receive visas easily and carry out the ministry dynamically. The Lausanne movement aims to world evangelization for all mankind. Lausanne Covenant(LC), Manila Manifesto(MM), and Cape Town Committment(CTC) maintain the finality of Jesus Christ and salvation as well as deny religious pluralism and syncretism. CTC’s key word ‘Reconciliation’ which is based on God’s love. His love for the world and for all mankind is proof of love for the gospel. It is also an expression of submission to the Lord and a powerful force in mission. CTC emphasizes the life of service through the whole gospel to the people of God. From 2010 the Lausanne uses the term ‘Integral Mission’. God wants to practice all dimensions of mission in a holistic and dynamic way. Because God, His kingdom, and His gospel are holistic. And the world where God’s mission is accomplished is a place for Christian’s work and carry out the ministry. God calls his people in the world and brings them into his mission. Every Christian is a missionary to be sent to the world to fulfill God’s purpose. In conclusion, integral mission proclaim the gospel to the world, and Christian reveals life and faith biblically the same. Frontier mission fields in the 21st century, tentmaker has a high potential to support integral mission emphasized by Lausanne movement. Above all, tentmaker can have their own knowledge and skills in their workplace and exercise their influence. This is because the gospel penetrates the world and people through life work, which is the mission call of a tentmaker. Therefore, a tentmaker to carry out the great commandment of Jesus Christ and to testify the practice neighbor’s love as a life is a major instrument of God’s mission.
