본 연구는 오르프 음악치료 프로그램이 자폐성장애아의 문제행동, 의사소통 및 사회적 상호작용에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 부산 H 사회복지관에서 자폐성장애아 5명을 대상으로 하였다. 프로그램 실시 전, 자폐성장애아에게 아동기 자폐증 평정척도, 사회성숙도 검사와 수용·표현 어휘력 검사를 실시하여 그 결과에 따라 대상자로 선정하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 프로그램에 참여한 자폐성장애아의 문제행동이 유의하게 감소되었다. 둘째, 프로그램에 참여한 자폐성장애아의 의사소통 기술이 유의하게 향상되었다. 셋째, 프로그램에 참여한 자폐성장애아의 사회적 상호작용이 유의하게 향상되었다. 이와 같은 연구결과에 비추어볼 때 본 프로그램은 문제행동, 의사소통 기술 및 다른 사람들과의 사회적 상호작용에 대한 다양한 기회를 제공함으로써 자폐성장애아에게 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 후속연구에 대한 제언과 시사점을 논의 하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a Orff music therapy Program on problematic behavior, communication skills and social interaction of the children with autism spectrum disorders. Participants were 5 children with autism spectrum disorders from H social welfare center in Busan. Before the program, children with autism disorders were administered the Childhood Autism Rating Scale, the Social Maturity Scale, and the Receptive and Expressive Vocabulary Test. The subjects were selected according to the results. The results of this study are as follows. First, the problematic behavior of the autism spectrum disorders was reduced significantly after this Orff music therapy program was given. Second, the communication skills of the autism spectrum disorders was increased significantly. Third, the social interaction of the autism spectrum disorders was also increased. Therefore, the Orff music Therapy Program is thought to be much helpful to the autism spectrum disorders by giving them various opportunities of problematic behavior, communication skills and social interaction with others. Finally, based on the findings, limitations of the current study and suggestion for future research were presented
