본 연구는 국내에서 발표된 전래동화 그림책 관련 연구동향을 분석함으로써 그림책 관련분야의 흐름을 살펴보고 향후 연구방향을 제시한다. 본 연구를 위해 학술연구정보서비스(RISS), 한국학술정보(KISS), 국회전자도서관 검색서비스를 기반으로 등재(후보)학술지와 석·박사 학위논문을 검색하여 총 93편의 전래동화 그림책 논문을 선정하였다. 발행연도별 분석결과 전래동화 그림책 연구는 1997년 이후 현재까지 꾸준하게 이루어져 왔으며, 전체적으로 증가추세에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구대상별 분석결과 유아를 대상으로 한 논문이 가장 많았고, 그림책, 교사, 부모, 영아, 예비교사 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 다양한 연령의 유아를 대상으로 하는 연구가 필요하며, 전래동화 그림책을 선택하고 소개하는 부모, 교사를 대상으로 한 연구가 필요하다. 전래동화 그림책의 전통 관련 총체적인 분석, 다양한 연령대의 유아들의 반응과 의미구성 과정 등 연구를 뒷받침할 수 있는 후속연구가 계속되길 기대한다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the research trends related to picture books of fairy tales published from Korea making suggestions for future research. For this study, 93 papers related to picture books of fairy tales were selected. These papers were referenced form academic journals and candidate journals based on Research Information Services System (RISS). Our research methods, subjects and contents included reference from Korean studies Information Services System (KISS) and the National Assembly Digital Library. Our result analysis was consistently carried out since 1997. It has shown that there is indeed an increasing tendency towards a broad trend. The result of this study suggests that further research should be conducted on parents and teachers who choose to introduce children to illustrated novels of various age groups. I would like to suggest the demand for research that can support evaluations based on the best introductory method for selecting the most beneficial traditional illustrated story novels.
