본 연구의 목적은 캡스톤 디자인 수업모형에 기초한 언어교수매체 제작 및 적용 활동이 예비 유아교사의 의사소통, 통섭 및 융합적 사고, 창의적 문제해결, 지식탐구 역량 향상 기여에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 데 있다. 이를 위해 서울시 소재 4년제 대학의 유아교육학과 4학년에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 23명을 대상으로 17주 동안 적용하고 그 효과를 대응표본 t검증으로 분석하였다. 그 결과,켑스톤 디자인 수업모형에 기초한 언어교수매체 제작 및 적용 활동은 예비 유아교사의 의사소통, 통섭 및 융합적 사고 능력, 창의적 문제해결, 지식탐구 역량 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 캡스톤 디자인 수업모형은 예비유아교사들의 핵심역량 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있는수업 방법임을 시사하며 실무형 인재를 발굴하고자 하는 대학교육에 유용하게 활용될 수 있음을 제안한다.
The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of the production and application of languageteaching materials based on the Capstone Design Teaching Model on the communication,convergent thinking, creative problem solving and knowledge exploration competencies ofpreliminary early childhood teachers. For this purpose, 23 4th year preliminary early childhoodteachers in their undergraduate curriculum at 4 year college in Seoul were applied for 17 weeksand their effects were analyzed by the corresponding sample t-test. As a result, it was foundthat the production and application of language teaching materials based on the capstone designteaching model had a positive effect on the communication, convergent thinking ability, creativeproblem solving, and knowledge inquiry competencies of the preliminary early childhood teachers. Thus, the capstone design teaching model implies that preliminary early childhood teachers have apositive effect on the improvement of core competencies, and suggests that they can be usefullyused in college education to make practical talents.
