최근 중소물류기업은 열악한 상황에서 매출이 감소되고 있다. 이러한 중소물류기업의 사업성과를 높이기 위한 방안으로 정부는 중소물류기업을 지원하기 위한 정책을 시행하고 있다. 이런 정책을 시행하기 위해서 정부는 중소물류기업의 자생력을 높이기 위한 방법으로 중소물류기업 컨설팅지원정책을 시행하고 있다. 컨설팅지원정책사업으로는 업무프로세스개선, 서비스개선, 운영관 리개선 등을 개선하고, 회계업무를 지원하여 사업성과를 높이고자 하는데 있다. 이러한 과정에서 중소물류기업의 시행의 사업성 과를 분석하기 위해 전국 중소물류기업 201개를 대상으로 컨설팅 사업성과를 분석하였다. 분석된 결과는 업무프로세스의 작업계 획, 작업지시, 작업실적의 일관된 프로세스로 표준화하는 개선과 서비스수준의 정보품질, 상호작용품질, 주문효과성, 주문정확성, 제품상태, 적시성, 지원시스템 등과 운영관리로의 단가관리로 인한 비용수준개선, order관리로 인한 계획물류기능 개선, order 단일화로 인한 업무혼선방지 개선, 절차상개선으로 업무효율화개선은 물류사업성과의 납기준수율 정확성, 리드타임단축, 물류비감소 등에 영향을 주어 사업성과를 높이는 것으로 분석되었다. 그리고, 회계업무지원은 회계업무, 경영분석, 원가관리, 예산관리업무등 사업성과를 더 높이는 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 중소물류기업의 자생력을 높이기 위해서 정부의 컨설팅지원정책은 효과가 있다고 보고 이러한 중소물류기업의 자생력은 고용창출을 높이고 물류서비스를 한층 더 높일 수 있는 계기가 될 것이다.
